I'm a film historian, an aspiring Yiddishistke and a would-be time traveller.

My research focuses on Hollywood history of the 1920s-1940s; particular interests include stardom and fandom, movie fan magazines, issues of censorship and the career of Norma Shearer.

I'm currently working on Hollywood fandom in the American and Polish Yiddish press.
